Fescue Lawn Care provides an independent, bespoke lawn care service to clients in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
Whatever your garden shape, size or style, we can offer a service to suit your needs.
Your lawn is often the largest and most frequently used part of your garden, yet is often not looked after. Endless games of football and other sports along with parties and BBQ’s, not to mention the dreaded paddling pool and trampoline, can kill off large patches of the grass. There is also the over enthusiastic DIY lawn expert who accidentally kills off large areas of lawn with too much ‘magic fix all’ lawn treatments bought from the local garden centre!
A beautiful cared for lawn can transform your garden’s appearance making it a focal point of the garden. Think of your lawn as your garden’s carpet and give it the TLC it needs - you wouldn’t think of decorating your house without replacing the old tatty carpets that are full of holes and bare patches!
At Fescue Lawn Care we are fully trained to make your lawn the envy of the neighbours leaving you to sit back and enjoy the garden again, even imagining you’re stepping out onto the turf at Wembley or sinking the winning putt at the Ryder Cup!
About Me
From trying to improve my mum & dad’s lawn when I was 10, I have always been interested in lawn care and the outdoor life. So when I left school, I studied rural leisure at Hartpury College. It was there that I decided to follow my interests in turf care and management.
When the opportunity came to be part of the ground staff at Cheltenham College, following work experience, I started to learn my trade. Working at the famous Cheltenham Cricket Festival was a particular highlight as a keen cricketer myself, it allowed me to implement and advance the skills I had studied.
Further training at Hartpury College on a Sports Turf Maintenance course followed which sealed my love and passion for all things grass care!
Whilst at Cheltenham College, I was able to work on all types of sports pitches including rugby and hockey as well as honing my skills on the preparation and maintenance of my passion for cricket pitches.
